Here is Brittney's latest letter
This week took a long time to get to Sitka. I was in Anchorage for several days because my new companion Sister Harrison is the Sister training leader down here. So I was able to go work in my old areas with one of the new sisters.... so I got to do a mini training. It was fun and she will be a great missionary. Then we flew to Juneau. We stayed for our zone meeting which in mostly done over the computer since the zone can't gather in one area because most of us are on islands. Then we were able to fly here to Sitka! It is beautiful here! It looks a lot like Washington except there are mountains here so kind of a little different than Orcas. I miss north pole, but I know that I needed to leave and I know that I am needed here in Sitka. Sister Harrison is awesome and we are already on the same page. sometimes it is like she reads my mind and it is kind of creepy, but I know those are the times when we are being guided by the spirit! The ward is pretty small and should be a branch, but we are going to see miracles here! I love the church here! It is made completely out of wood and it smells great! I would love to live in a house that looked similar to this someday! I have been able to meet several people in the ward and they are all great and amazing, and I was also able to meet one of our investigators Jasper. I have a good feeling about this one! I think he is really looking for the gospel in his life and wants it so bad! I hope that we can help him realize his divine nature and potential and help him have the desire to be baptized! I know that we will be able to help him feel the spirit. I know that the work is in vain if we don't have the spirit with us! It is also amazing to watch people realize where they come from and see their divine nature. I am so grateful for the knowledge that I have that I am a daughter of Heavenly Father and that he knows and loves me perfectly! I love you all and hope you have a great week!
